Animators are a pale, pale, lot.

lmao why is it that every animation room I’ve ever been in has no windows and people think it’s good idea to keep the lights off all the time and only be lit by the eerie glow of their computer screens as they whisper prayers to the Maya gods.

It was enough to keep me out of animation that’s for sure.

Editing bays/post-production labs are the exact same way, except you’re sacrificing virgin coffee cups to AVID and FCP instead of Maya while surreptitiously looking over your shoulder to make sure the supervisors don’t catch you with a beverage at the desk.
