I am just desperately hoping that they’re not biting off more than they can chew with this movie.  On the one hand the Extremis stuff looks fantastic but they’ve got Justin Hammer and the Mandarin and AIM is making its asshole presence known and I’m just like “Whoa guys slow down let’s not have another Spider-Man 3 here.” :\  Also hoping it’s not TOO srs bzns, a big draw of the Iron Man films for me is how much fun they are overall.  I still consider the first movie to be as close to a flawless execution of a comic book movie as I’ve ever seen.

ALL OF THAT SAID, fuck yeah, bring on summer.

Guys, seriously, chill.  Remember, even if Whedon’s writing, it’s still Marvel.

Professor Xavier himself famously snarked that in Mutant Heaven there are no Pearly Gates…just revolving doors.  It holds true for the rest of the Marvel U at large too.  Anyone Whedon shanks in the upcoming films will be back eventually.  Count on it.
