So um… I didn’t like the composition of my first attempt, so I tried again. Got carried away with painting at about 2pm… took a break to read some fic… finished it at about 8:30pm… realised I haven’t eaten or worked that much today… THE GLAMOROUS LIFE OF AN ARTIST EVERYONE \o/

Oh my God I missed reblogging this back when it was posted because I was still stuck in Harborview but AT LAST I HAVE FOUND IT AGAIN.  This is one of my favorite scenes in all of Engineers, and this illustration is perfection.

But I loved the chance to have a go at his Gridsuit because it’s wonderfully between WTF and BAMF, just like he is half-wtfing and half-bamfing it in the fic. When the door finally slid open, Clu was on the other side. He had Alan’s morning glass of energy in his hand. Alan took it, wordlessly, and drank it down.

“Ready for your big day?” Clu asked.

“Do I have a choice?”

Clu just smirked at him….

Oh boy oh boy oh boy, can’t think of a better thing to wake up to than a new chapter of Engineers on my dash~

May I just say I *love* how confident you are with computer talk and the world inside the Grid, Grey?  Also HA at Alan’s reaction to getting Gridception’d by FlynnOS, and at the interface snarking back at him (and Sentries!  Hi Sentries!).  This continues to be one of my favorite Tron fics out there.
