I’m really happy that I managed to finish this, while not entirely happy with the finished product I think I branched out a bit in terms of composition! I just need to work on my colouring, haha.
I think the thing I love most here is the hexagon background that I made from scratch /SHOT
This is a good thing and you should feel good.

Greetings, Tron lovers! I need your help. I’m working on a new fic that’s going to feature ISOs (and their leaders in particular) pretty heavily and I’m looking for reference material, but am having trouble finding anything comprehensive. Do any of you have any links, etc, regarding:

Radia’s relationship to Jalen
ISO leadership structure
That almost telepathic skill-set we see in Radia during Evolution
ISO relationships- Do their leaders take mates/counterparts? Do we know?

…oh dear Users, this is so frustrating.
There is very, VERY little to go on. Believe me, I know from when I was working on both the Neglected Character Feature series and when I was writing False Light. I ended up BSing a lot of the latter, simply because aside from what bits we get in Betrayal and Evolution, and some extras/wiki files related to said properties, we are told absolutely shit all about the ISOs. What the hell do the alpha/beta/whatever classifications even mean? Where the hell does Radia get her Professor X powers? Why are they such special snowflakes?

Note: The information in these articles is unfortunately not terribly detailed. A lot of it comes from the Tron File extras you can collect in Tron: Evolution.
Jalen’s voice diary in the Abraxas Shard extras you collect over the course of Tron: Evolution (start at the 12:04 mark). This is the only place Jalen ever gets to be a proper character, alas.
And of course there’re Tron: Betrayal and Tron: Evolution themselves, but I imagine you’ve already read/played/watched those!
Time is a subjective experience, and none know it better than Kevin Flynn and his creation. Minutes into hours, hours into weeks, two decades into a thousand years of silence and dead air, bitter rage and crushing loneliness. But it’s the last split nanosecond that seems to go on the longest, stretching on into an eternity that dwarfs that miserable millennium into a unit of time barely measurable even in quantum terms—an eternity in which the two halves finally and forever fit together as they’re meant to, loved and accepted and whole.

Flynn is hiding, and Clu hates him for it.
There was never a time before now when Clu couldn’t feel Flynn within him. He’d never needed the light of the open Portal to tell him that Flynn was on the Grid; he’d simply known. They shared a face, a voice. They’d finished each other’s sentences, sometimes. He’d shared Flynn’s dreams, seen hazy images of the world of the Users through Flynn’s eyes, and he knows Flynn dreamed of him, of their world, when he was gone. They’d shared a vision.
That Flynn is hiding physically from him is bad enough. But he’s hiding himself, his soul, too, leaving nothing but a distant spark to indicate he’s even still alive, and the cold absence where his Creator’s presence had once lived makes Clu burn with rage.
The Games are on this millicycle, and Clu participates, to the mingled shock and uneasy delight of the crowd, taking on a team of six captive Programs in the Final Round. Disc Wars is not ordinarily his sport—he’s always preferred the thrill of the lightcycle derbies—but tonight he tears through his opponents with vicious, savage gusto. Two of them bear the bright green circuitry of Bostrumite ISOs, dragged out from their underground knotholes, and Clu pays them special attention, eschewing disc to tear one of them limb from limb barehanded and driving his fist through the chest of the other.
Can you feel this? Clu thinks, as the second of the ISOs crumbles into nothing around his fingers. Can you see? I know you can. Come for me, stop me, answer me!
Flynn never does.
(Sadly I have never seen a SINGLE EPISODE of Digimon, so here, have Tron: Evolution, Pokemon edition!)
“I’m sorry I didn’t get much of a chance to train you,” Flynn says apologetically, “But there’s just nobody else. Missingno is glitching up the entire Grid, and if we don’t get Quorra the Celebi back from Team Perfect it’s all over!”
Despite the odds, the little Machop straightens its back and puffs out its chest. “MACHOP!”
Flynn smiles with a tear in his eye, then squares his own shoulders. “Anon, I CHOOSE YOU!”
The thrill Clu feels as his reflection steps out of the mirror, eyes still hazed over with the disorientation of birth, is unlike anything he’s ever experienced before.
He reaches out to brush faintly trembling fingers—ungloved, circuits bare and pulsing—over his double’s face, tracing its contours softly, feeling the spark of their bond blaze to life at the contact.
“You are Flynn,” he breathes, excitement mounting as his doppelganger repeats the words. ”And you will never leave me.”
“I am Flynn, and I will never leave you.”
