I grew up approximately 90 minutes from Lake Tahoe, and we took trips up there all the time.  It.  Is.  Gorgeous.  Northern California does not get anywhere near the attention and admiration it deserves, and that makes me a sad panda. (And yes, the North Sierras are very, VERY Skyrimmy…)
