Hi, I’m Expo, and I would like to introduce you to MRSA.
MRSA stands for Methicillin-Resistant Staphyloccocus Aureus. It is what we like to call a “superbug”, because over the past ten or fifteen or twenty years—barely a fucking BLINK in the great scheme of time, you understand—this strain of staph has developed, or should I say, EVOLVED, a resistance to most of the most common antibiotics.
This particular superbug invaded my abdominal cavity when I had surgery to repair an ovarian torsion back at the end of April, and laid me out in the hospital for three weeks. It could only be killed by nuclear-grade new-class antibiotics, and it could very well have killed me.
I would now like to cordially invite you to SHUT THE FUCK UP.
